This lamp is absolutely beautiful. It was packed really good so nothing was broken.Assembly was a total pain. There was no way I could assemble this by myself. When joining the light to the base (the top inserts into the base portion with the switch) my husband had to shave off some of the plastic or it wouldn't even fit! Ugh! It took some considerable effort to get it to cap on.We put the lights and leaves on last. Yes the orange tint and white stuff flakes off from the glass but not enough to see any difference. I'm assuming in the end after cleaning multiple times the orange tint will be gone but I'm fine with that.By the way, it says "standard bulbs" and I ended up getting the wrong sized LEDs (I wanted smart lights)...I should've checked the manufacturer's website earlier because it states E12.
